5/1/2025 You're not out of integrityWhen you’re growing into someone new, your brain 🧠 will try to convince you that you’re being fake.
It’ll whisper things like: “You’re not being real.” “This isn’t who you are.” “You’re out of integrity.” But the truth is-- You’re not out of integrity. You’re just not committed to the old version of you anymore. Let’s say you’re someone who’s always played small. You didn’t speak up. You stayed in the background. You apologized for wanting more. And now? You’re starting to dream again. You’re showing up differently. You’re voicing opinions. You’re believing you’re meant for something bigger. That’s when the discomfort kicks in. Not because you’re doing something wrong-- But because you’re doing something new. Your brain is built to protect you. So anything unfamiliar—even if it’s better for you—feels dangerous ⚠️ It wants to keep you committed to what it knows. Even if what it knows is keeping you stuck. But you get to choose: Commitment to the life you’ve always had… Or commitment to the life you know, deep down, you’re meant to create. As Imam Al-Ghazali said: “Never have I dealt with anything more difficult than my own soul, which sometimes helps me and sometimes opposes me.” Stepping into the next version of yourself might feel like leaving something behind. But maybe what you’re leaving behind was never really you. Maybe it was just a version of you shaped by fear, doubt, or survival. Now it’s time to shape a version of you built on intention, purpose, and trust in Allah. If that’s what you want-- I’d love to help you become her. Book a free consultation call and let’s explore how coaching can support you in stepping fully into that version of yourself.
