7/28/2025 Your purpose is an amanahIf you don’t figure out your purpose, that feeling doesn’t go away.
It just follows you. From one phase of life to the next. From your 20s to your 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s…and beyond That quiet ache of “I’m meant for more than this.” That whisper that says “There’s something I was born to do.” You’re still you, no matter how many years pass. And just because you get older doesn’t mean you diminish. You carry your calling with you—until you answer it. In the book “The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying,” the #1 regret was: “I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.” But for us as Muslims, it’s even deeper. We were created with a sacred trust. “Indeed, We offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it—but man undertook it…” (Qur’an 33:72) That amanah includes your role in this world. The potential Allah gave you. The gifts He gave you. The work He placed in your heart. And the people He meant for you to serve. You’re not too young. You’re not too old. And the feeling won’t go away until you look it in the eye. Start where you are. I offer free consultations to help you explore your purpose—with clarity, with compassion, and through the lens of our faith. Your amanah is waiting.
