6/14/2025 Work is not WorthYour work doesn’t create your worth.
You were already infinitely worthy the day Allah created you. But so many of us—especially high-achieving women—tie our self-worth to our work-worth. The better the title, the higher the salary, the more impressive the LinkedIn headline… the more “worthy” we feel. And then comes motherhood. You leave work to raise your children. And without realizing it, your confidence starts to plummet. Because for so long, your identity and sense of capability was tied to what you did for work. Now that it’s not there, your mind starts whispering: • “I’m not the same anymore.” • “I don’t even know if I could go back.” • “What if I lost my edge?” • “What if I peaked before kids?” Years pass. And one day, you look up and barely recognize yourself. But here’s the truth: ➡️ You are not broken. ➡️ You haven’t gone backwards. ➡️ You’ve just been looking in the wrong direction for your worth. The real work is unlearning that old equation: Work = Worth. And replacing it with something truer and deeper: Allah is the source of your worth. Motherhood is one of the most transformational, growth-inducing, soul-expanding roles in existence. You’ve been leveling up—not down. You just haven’t been giving yourself credit. When I look at my personal experience I think: Law school? Easy. Being an attorney? Easy. Traveling solo? Easy. Even long intense hikes? Easy. Compared to the deep inner strength it took to bring two children into this world and nurture them every step of the way—motherhood has been the most refining chapter of my life. And I’m stronger for it. More capable. More resilient. More me. If any part of this spoke to you—and you’re ready to start rebuilding your sense of self from a place of truth and divine alignment—I’d love to support you. Let’s talk about how coaching can help you reconnect with who you are, what you’re capable of, and where you’re meant to go next.
