What makes you feel safe & secure?

I’ve always been smart with my money 💵

No debt.

A healthy money set aside account.

Always planning ahead.

I thought that meant I was secure.

But one day, I heard someone say something that stopped me in my tracks:

“If you don’t feel secure within yourself, no amount of money will ever make you feel secure.”

And suddenly I realized --
I had been putting my trust in money, not in Allah.

SubhanAllah, it was humbling.

Because Allah tells us clearly:

“Whoever puts their trust in Allah – He is sufficient for them.” (Qur’an 65:3)

It wasn’t the numbers in my accounts giving me safety.

It was Allah the whole time.

And I had been missing it.

Since shifting my trust back to Allah, the sense of security I feel — no matter what’s happening externally — is something money could never buy.
