6/10/2025 TransitionsTransition periods aren’t a waste of time ⌛️
They’re a strategy♟️ But too many people don’t give themselves that space ⚪️ We rush from one chapter to the next. 🏃🏽♀️ One job to the next. 📋 One season of life to the next 🍁❄️🌷☀️ Thinking if we stop to breathe, we’re falling behind. 🏁 But the truth is: Transition periods aren’t just helpful—they’re necessary. They give you time to rest. To reflect. To process. To get the help you need. So your next step is one you’re actually choosing—not one you just stumble into. It’s like the rubber band, pulling it all the way back, but then letting go propels you forward so much faster. I always recommend intentionally building in a transition period after a big life change. Because if you don’t know where you’re going, you’re just moving faster toward nowhere. But there’s another side to this too. Some people stay in transition for years. They didn’t get the job they wanted… and got stuck in their head. Self-doubt took over. The fear grew. And now they’re still “thinking” ten years later—while life keeps moving around them. Even when their family tries to help, they say, “I’m fine. I have time. I’m just figuring things out.” But that “figuring out” can become a trap. So here’s what I tell my clients: Make sure your transition is a bridge 🌉 not a pit 🕳️ A time to realign—not a place to hide. Get support. Don’t go it alone. Take the time you need—but use that time with intention. That’s the balance. Pause. Reflect. Pray. And take action. With help. ✨ If you’re in a transition season right now—and want help navigating it with clarity and purpose—I offer free consultations. So you can move forward intentionally, not fearfully.
