4/30/2025 This is the worst case scenarioYou’re already living your “worst-case scenario.”
You’re already not doing the thing you quietly think 💭 about. You’re already not using the gifts 🎁 Allah gave you in the way you could. You’re already not showing up fully in your life. So when your brain 🧠 says, “What if I try and fail?” Ask yourself—fail compared to what? You’re already living the version where you didn’t go for it. And if you’re honest, you know what that feels like. You’re not fulfilled. You’re not proud. You’re not at peace with staying where you are. Your brain will try to convince you that playing it safe is protection-- But often it’s just fear in disguise. Even if you try and it doesn’t turn out the way you hoped, you will respect yourself for showing up. You will feel more whole for doing the hard thing. You will love who you become in that process. The version of you that tried and didn’t hide is so much more alive and aligned than the one hiding now. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though there is good in both.” Strength isn’t just physical. It’s spiritual and emotional. It’s the strength to act. To choose. To move with intention even when it’s uncomfortable. So if you’ve been waiting for some perfect moment, ask yourself: Is my brain protecting me, or just keeping me from the life I know I want to live?
