5/20/2025 The transitional versionThere are three versions of you when you’re trying to shift your identity:
1. The current you The one you’re familiar with. She’s gotten you this far. She’s safe. Comfortable. Your brain knows her well—and wants to keep her around. 2. The future you The one who has what you desire. Who lives with purpose. Aligned, fulfilled, joyful. Your soul knows her. Can see her. And knows she’s possible. 3. The transitional you This is the version no one talks about enough. She’s the one in the middle. The one who says yes to the unknown. Who invests time, energy, and money. Who has to quiet the voice in her head that says, “Just go back. This is too hard.” She does the uncomfortable work—building new habits, failing forward, facing fears, showing up again and again. She holds the vision of the future while dragging the current self out of comfort. This part is the hardest. Most people give up in the middle. They start, feel the discomfort, and stop. But their soul doesn’t stop. It keeps whispering: “You were made for more. Just try again.” Coaching is what helped me survive that middle. Before I knew it existed, I remember thinking: “I don’t need therapy. It’s not an academic thing. I just want to meet my potential. But I don’t even know how to figure out what that looks like-- or where to begin.” When I finally worked with a coach, I felt like I had found exactly what I was searching for all along. That’s why I do this work now for Muslim women who are ready to become the next version of themselves. Because our deen is full of reminders to strive, to grow, to transform in service of Allah ﷻ. If you’re ready to become the future version of you—but you’re stuck in the transition—Let’s talk.
