4/29/2025 The next step after self awarenessThe first step to working on yourself is self-awareness.
Noticing your thoughts 💭 as they arise. Noticing how you’re feeling. Noticing what triggers you. It’s powerful work. But here’s what most people miss about self-awareness: It’s not just about noticing. It’s about what you do with what you notice. For many women I coach, the pattern looks like this: • “Why would I think that? I’m a horrible person.” • “Why do I feel this way? I should just be grateful.” • “I failed because I didn’t do it right. Again.” • “Why am I always like this?” Self-awareness turns into self-judgment. And all that valuable noticing? Set on fire 🔥 Allah tells us: “And do not despair of the mercy of Allah.” (Qur’an 39:53) Judgment shuts the door 🚪 to mercy. Reflection and compassion open it. If you approach yourself with judgment, you’ll hit a roadblock 🚧 You’ll stop growing—not because you can’t, but because shame becomes the loudest 📢 voice in the room. From that place, you can’t think clearly about your next steps. You just feel stuck. So let me ask you this: You’ve been working on becoming more self-aware… But are you using that awareness to grow? Or are you stuck in blame and shame? If you’re ready to stop spiraling 🌀 and start moving forward ⏩ Book a free consultation with me. Let’s talk about how to shift from judgment to growth, with tools 🛠️ rooted in faith and grounded in compassion.
