2/25/2025 The Fuel to Keep Going on Your PurposeIf you’re trying to live your purpose and it happens to be different from anyone in your circle, it can feel almost impossible to continue without support. The brain hates doing scary, unfamiliar things. And pursuing a path that no one around you understands? That’s terrifying to the brain.
This is why so many people give up—not because their purpose wasn’t right for them, but because they simply ran out of fuel. The beauty of today’s world is that we’re more connected than ever. You can find the right support. Whether it’s a coach who meets with you weekly to keep you going or a group of like-minded people who remind you why you started, that consistent check-in is what keeps you from quitting. Even the strongest believers need support. Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said: “The wind does not break a tree that has strong roots, but it uproots the one that stands alone.” Who you surround yourself with matters. If you don’t have the right people around you, it’s easy to lose momentum. But when you have someone consistently checking in, reminding you of your why, and keeping you accountable, it’s like getting refueled every week. You don’t have to struggle in isolation. That weekly check-in is your rest stop, refueling you to get back out there. Without it, the journey feels too long, too exhausting. And that’s when people start telling themselves: “Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.” But what if it was? What if you were just missing the right support? This is exactly why I coach Muslim women—to be that built-in support system for you, so you don’t have to give up on the purpose that Allah placed in your heart. If you’re trying to do something different and need that fuel to keep going, let’s talk. Don’t quit on yourself just because you’re trying to do it alone.
