6/17/2025 The FearWe stay stuck in fear not because the worst-case scenario is actually happening--
but because we never name it. We feel the heaviness of it… The fear of failing. The fear of judgment. The fear of disappointing people. But we never actually get specific. And that’s what keeps us hostage. It’s the unknown energy of fear that paralyzes us. The “what if…” that just hangs in the background like a shadow we won’t turn and face. ⸻ Here’s a tool to set yourself free: 👉🏽 Literally sit down. 👉🏽 Write out your absolute worst-case scenario. 👉🏽 Be very, very specific. 👉🏽 What exactly would happen? 👉🏽 How would you feel—emotionally, physically, spiritually? Then take it one step further: If that happened… how would I respond? Who could I turn to? What steps could I take to get back up? Write that down too. Be detailed. ⸻ This is how we disarm fear. We shine a light on it. We stop letting it live rent-free in the fog of “what if” and give it shape, definition, and a response plan. From an Islamic perspective, this is the balance between taking the asbab (the means) and having true tawakkul (trust in Allah). You face the fear, you prepare for it, and then you lean into the belief that no matter what—Allah is with you. “And He is with you wherever you are.” (Qur’an 57:4) ⸻ If you’re stuck in fear right now—if your brain is telling you “don’t do it, it’s too risky, what if you fail”-- Book a free consult with me.
