5/12/2026 Taking StepsYou don’t achieve big goals by obsessing over the big goal all day.
You achieve them by: ✨ deciding what you want ✨ breaking it into small, repeatable steps ✨ and learning how to manage your brain while you take them Because once the excitement fades your brain starts talking. Sometimes it resists the small steps entirely: * “This is too hard.” * “What if I fail?” * “What if I put in effort and nothing happens?” * “What if people judge me?” Other times, it does the opposite. It wants to rush the result. It wants certainty immediately. It wants overnight transformation. It wants to skip the process and get to the outcome fast. Your job is not to control the timeline. Your job is to become the person who can consistently take aligned action even when your emotions fluctuate. The real work is learning to observe your brain instead of automatically obeying it. Ask yourself: 👉 What am I making these small steps mean? 👉 What am I afraid will happen if I fully go for this? 👉 Am I avoiding discomfort or trying to escape it by forcing quick results? A lot of people don’t need a better plan. They need a better relationship with their own mind. As Muslims, we also know results are not fully in our control. We take the means, we show up consistently, we make dua, and we trust Allah with the outcome and timing. Small aligned steps + emotional resilience + trust in Allah can completely change the trajectory of your life.
