6/4/2026 Small Steps to Big ResultsOne of my clients recently made her first money in her business. 🎉
Almost immediately, her brain jumped to: “Okay, now I need to make $2,000.” I stopped her and asked: “What about getting to $1,000 first?” At first glance, it sounds like a small adjustment. It’s not. It’s a completely different way of thinking. When our brains are presented with a goal that feels too far away, the gap between where we are and where we want to be can trigger overwhelm, doubt and resistance. The brain starts scanning for evidence of why it might not happen. But when we focus on the next achievable milestone, the brain can more easily access problem-solving mode. Neuroscience shows that progress matters. Every small win creates evidence that says: “I can do this.” Those wins build confidence, strengthen new neural pathways, and make the next step feel more believable. Success is created by becoming the person who achieves the result, one decision, one action, and one piece of evidence at a time. You don’t need to believe you’ll make $100,000 today. You need to believe you can take the next step. Then the next. Then the next. Thinking in possibility doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It means using today’s evidence to create tomorrow’s results. Instead of asking: “How do I get all the way there?” Try asking: “What’s the next milestone I can realistically create?” Big results are built on small results. And small results are built on small actions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by a goal and aren’t sure how to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be, I’d love to help. Together, we’ll create a plan that your brain can actually believe in and follow through on. Email [email protected] to book your free consultation call. Comments are closed.
