6/15/2025 Small Steps Big ResultsYour brain will lie to you.
It’ll tell you that if you can’t go all in on a goal—quit your job, wake up at 4am, dedicate 5 hours a day—then what’s the point? But neuroscience tells us something different: Your brain tends to think in all-or-nothing patterns. Which is really unhelpful when you’re a busy woman with a full life. Here’s the truth: If you give something 30 minutes a day—or even just under an hour—and stay consistent, you will create massive results over time. This isn’t a theory. I’ve tested it: 🧠 In law school: We got a huge brief due at the end of the semester. I spent 1 quiet hour every weekday morning on it starting from Day 1. By the time it was due, I was cool as a cucumber while everyone else was pulling all-nighters and cutting corners. I got an A—with zero stress. 🧠 With my two babies at home: I worked under an hour each night for a year building a course curriculum. Then taught it once a week in a 90-minute class. Edited the material for 30 minutes or less after every class. One year later: A polished, fully developed course. 🧠 In my business: These LinkedIn posts you see from me daily? I write them in under 30 minutes a day. Small habit = big consistency. And that consistency has connected to me incredible women many of whom have become clients, collaborators and friends. 🧠 In my health: I dedicate just 30 minutes a day—10 minutes of morning movement + a 20-minute walk. That’s it. And it’s changed how I feel in my body and mind. From an Islamic lens: The Prophet ﷺ said, “The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.” You don’t need a full weekend. You don’t need the perfect time. You just need a small window—and the intention to keep showing up. ✨ What’s one goal you’ve been postponing because it feels too big? What would it look like to break it down to under an hour a day?
