2/14/2026 Self-love is a practiceSelf-love isn’t bubble baths 🫧 and affirmations.
It’s having your own back. No matter what. It’s when you set a goal You go after it You hit obstacles Things don’t go your way And instead of spiraling into: • “Maybe I’m not cut out for this.” • “Why did I even try?” • “I always mess things up.” You decide: 👉🏽 I’m still worthy. 👉🏽 This goal is still mine. 👉🏽 And I am not turning on myself. That’s self-love. Self-love isn’t a feeling you wait for, it’s a practice. It’s the willingness to: • Feel disappointment without making it mean something about you. • Fail without attacking your identity. • Keep going without punishing yourself. Loving yourself through the result that comes up for you, especially when the result isn’t what you wanted. Your relationship with yourself determines everything. If you’re constantly against yourself, success will feel unsafe and exhausting. We were created because Allah (SWT) wants us to exist. You were designed intentionally. Your personality. Your strengths. Your quirks. You were not randomly assembled. Allah created you on purpose. That means you were born worthy. Not earning it. Not proving it. Not hustling for it. When we beat ourselves up for not performing perfectly, we are acting as if our worth fluctuates with outcomes. It doesn’t. Having your own back while striving for excellence, that is the Islamic way. We strive. We work. We take action. We make dua. And when things don’t go as planned? We don’t turn against ourselves. We say: “Allah created me with intention. I trust that. I trust Him. And I will keep going.” That’s real self-love. If you’re ready to build goals from worthiness instead of self-criticism and create success without abandoning yourself, I’d love to support you to make sure you never stand alone against yourself again.
