Juz 4 of the Qur’an contains a powerful reminder in Surah Aal-Imran (3:139):
“So do not weaken and do not grieve, for you will be superior if you are [true] believers.” This ayah shifts perspective. It acknowledges hardship but redirects our focus to a higher truth—our strength comes from faith, not external circumstances. In coaching, I see this all the time. Two people can face the same challenge, yet one rises while the other feels stuck. The difference? Perspective. When you believe you are powerless, your brain finds proof. When you believe you are capable, your brain finds solutions. Ramadan is a time to realign our perspective with the Qur’an. Instead of focusing on limitations, let’s ask: What does Allah want me to see here? How can I rise through this? If you’re feeling stuck in life, it may not be your situation—it may just be the perspective you’re viewing it from. And the best part? Perspective is something you can change.
