In Surah Sad (38:35), Prophet Sulaiman (AS) makes a remarkable dua:
“He said, ‘My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom the like of which will never be given to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.’” This ayah teaches us so much about the power of bold, focused supplication. Sulaiman (AS) didn’t just ask for any kingdom—he asked for one unparalleled in history. And Allah granted it to him. Many of us hold back in our duaas 🤲🏽 We hesitate to ask for big things, thinking we don’t deserve them or that they’re too much. But this ayah reminds us: If Allah can grant a kingdom beyond imagination, what makes us think our dreams are too big? This Ramadan, ask yourself: ➡️ Are my duas reflecting my true desires, or am I playing small? ➡️ Am I asking with full certainty that Allah can grant anything? ➡️ What’s the ‘unparalleled kingdom’ I’m seeking in my life? If you’re feeling stuck, unsure of what to ask for, or afraid to dream bigger, reflect on that and really challenge yourself to articulate the block inside of you. What’s one dua you’ve been holding back from asking? Email me to book your free consultation call today and take the first step into the future Allah can bestow for you.
