Ramadan Day 22: The Power of Conviction

Surah Yaseen begins with Allah affirming the truth of the message revealed to the Prophet ﷺ, highlighting the fate of those who reject guidance and the unwavering faith of those who embrace it.

In Ayahs 13-27, we hear the story of a man who ran from the farthest part of the city, urging his people to follow the messengers. Despite their rejection, he remained steadfast in his belief, and Allah rewarded him with Jannah.

What strikes me is his conviction—he saw the truth and acted on it, even when it was hard. He didn’t wait for approval or for the circumstances to be perfect. He stepped forward with courage, trusting that Allah’s promise was greater than his fears.

Conviction is what keeps us going when things don’t work immediately.

Imagine committing to a goal and telling yourself, “I will keep working on this until it works.” That mindset forces your brain 🧠 to keep finding solutions.

But if you say, “I’ll try this for a year or two, and if it doesn’t work, I’ll quit,” your brain won’t be fully engaged—it knows there’s an exit.

True success comes from that unwavering commitment to keep going.
