Ramadan Day 2: The Power of Commitment

In Juz 2, we come across a powerful ayah:

“And do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.” (Qur’an 59:19)

Forgetting Allah leads to losing sight of who we are. And when we lose ourselves, we drift—unsure of our direction, disconnected from our purpose, unclear on what truly matters.

How often do we set goals, make intentions, and then slowly lose sight of them? Not because we don’t care, but because life gets busy, distractions take over, and we forget to realign ourselves.

But just like Ramadan pulls us back into focus, so does any intentional effort to reconnect—with Allah, with our values, and with the life we want to build.

Growth isn’t about a single moment of clarity. It’s about continuous realignment. The more we remember Allah, the more we remember ourselves.
