The first Juz of the Qur’an begins with Surah Al-Fatiha—a surah we recite countless times a day. In it, we ask Allah (SWT):
“Guide us to the Straight Path.” Not show us. Not tell us. But guide us. Guidance isn’t passive—it requires movement. It requires a decision to walk the path once it’s made clear. How often do we hesitate in life, waiting for absolute certainty before taking a step? Second-guessing, overanalyzing, stuck between options—hoping clarity will come first. But in reality, clarity often follows action. This Ramadan, as we ask for guidance, let’s also commit to movement. To making decisions with trust—trust in Allah, trust in the process, and trust that even if adjustments are needed, progress is better than paralysis. What’s one decision you’ve been holding back on that you can finally take action on today?
