5/15/2026 OverwhelmOverwhelm usually feels like:
“I have too much to do.” “I don’t know where to start.” “What if I can’t handle all of this?” But coaching teaches us something powerful: Overwhelm is not actually coming from the amount on your plate 🍽️ It’s coming from your thoughts about what’s on your plate. When coaching your brain, overwhelm can start to creep up at first. Because suddenly you’re becoming more aware. You start seeing: * the patterns keeping you stuck * the decisions you’ve been avoiding * the dreams you’ve been putting off * the mindset shifts required to create a different life Your brain can interpret all of that awareness as: “This is too much.” But overwhelm is often a sign that your brain is trying to protect you from change, uncertainty, or the possibility of failure. Sometimes it wants to: * freeze * avoid * overthink * consume more information instead of taking action * rush to have all the answers immediately Coaching helps you slow that down. To separate: “What actually needs to happen?” from “What is my brain making this mean?” Because most of the time, you do not need to solve your entire future today. You just need the next step. And often the answer is not: “Work harder now.” It’s: * simplify * reconnect to what you actually want * stop trying to carry every possibility at once * build trust with yourself one decision at a time Overwhelm loses power when you stop treating every thought as an emergency 🚨 If you’ve been feeling mentally crowded, stuck in overthinking, or unsure how to move forward clearly and calmly, I offer free consultations for those who want support navigating purpose, decisions, and growth in a way that aligns with their values. You do not have to untangle everything alone. Email [email protected] to book your free consultation call. Comments are closed.
