7/15/2025 Making decisionsThe most empowered version of you doesn’t avoid decisions.
She makes them—with clarity, trust, and peace of mind. But many women have been conditioned to believe that thinking longer means being more responsible or logical. We say we’re “still thinking about it”… But often, we’re not actually thinking—we’re avoiding: • Avoiding the discomfort of being wrong • Avoiding the fear of failure • Avoiding responsibility for what comes next We wait to feel certain. But certainty is often a reward for courage, not a prerequisite for action. One of my clients had this exact experience. She came to a session with all the information she needed to make an important decision—but she said, “I’m still thinking about it.” So I asked her: “If you have everything you need… why not just decide now?” Then I asked something deeper: “Is this a pattern for you—do you often delay decisions even when you have clarity?” She paused. Then nodded. She realized she always did that. And as I reminded her: How we do one thing is how we do everything. It wasn’t really about needing more time. It was about not trusting herself to make the “right” decision. That moment was gold—because now we knew exactly where our work was. Not in finding the perfect choice. But in rebuilding self-trust, so she could move forward with confidence. As the Qur’an says: “Then when you have taken a decision, place your trust in Allah.” (Qur’an 3:159) ✨ The most empowered version of you doesn’t delay to avoid discomfort—she walks through it with faith.
