9/9/2025 I can't afford thatWhen you want something and your brain says:
“I can’t afford that.” Most people stop right there. End of story. But that’s not the truth — that’s your brain trying to conserve energy and avoid discomfort. And when “I can’t afford it” becomes your go-to thought, you train yourself to give up before you even begin. What if instead you pivoted? 👉 “I am resourceful. How can I make this happen?” When you ask that question, your mind begins working for you, not against you. You start seeing opportunities that were invisible before. 🌿 Islam calls us to something higher: to never despair of the resources of Allah (SWT). Allah says in the Qur’an: “…And whoever has taqwa of Allah – He will make for him a way out, and provide for him from where he does not expect.” (65:2–3) Notice — the provision doesn’t always show up in the exact way you imagine. It might come through new ideas, people, or opportunities you didn’t even consider until you challenged your own limiting thought. So when you say, “I can’t afford it,” pause. Ask yourself: • What doors might Allah already be opening for me that I’m not looking at? • How can I honor the resources He gave me — my skills, time, relationships — to move toward what I want? Because the real block isn’t the money. It’s the habit of stopping at “I can’t.” 📩 If you’re ready to move beyond “I can’t” and explore what’s actually possible for you, I’m offering a free consultation. We’ll dig into where you feel stuck, how you can shift your thinking, and the practical steps to create what you want.
