Have it all but still don't feel accomplished

You could build empires and still not feel like enough.

One of my clients is an overachiever in every sense.

Ivy League undergrad 🎓
Graduate degree from London 📜
Worked for top consulting firms in the U.S. and abroad 💻
Founded and scaled a successful organization that still runs with a full team 🖇️
Runs her own business 📈
Wife and mother 👶🏻

By all external measures, her accomplishments are extraordinary 🌟

And yet—she struggles to see herself as accomplished.

She doesn’t feel worthy.

Why?

Because somewhere deep down, she’s still carrying the wound of being the third daughter—when her mother, and her entire culture, had been hoping for a son.

As a little girl, she internalized that disappointment.

She didn’t hear she was unwanted—she felt it.
And even though she loves her mother and has a beautiful relationship with her today… the story lives on in the background.

But here’s what we do in coaching:

We hold space for the truth.
Yes—our parents were shaped by their world, their conditioning, their circumstances.
Yes—it may have hurt.
And—you don’t have to make that pain your identity.

Your self-worth does not come from your parents.
It does not come from your achievements.
It does not come from your spouse, your children, your resume, or your Instagram feed.

Self-worth comes from within you.

And ultimately, it comes from Allah.

Allah says:
“Indeed, We have honored the children of Adam…” (Qur’an 17:70)

That means you were already worthy the day you were born.

No one gets to give you worth—and no one gets to take it away.

When my client mentioned how intentional she is with making sure her daughter feels seen and appreciated, I asked her:

“But what if she still doesn’t feel worthy because she will feel like it needs to come externally, from you or someone else?”

She paused.

Then said, “Ooooo… that’s deep.”

Because it is.

She’s repeating the same pattern—just from the other end.

She didn’t feel appreciated, and now she’s pouring all her energy into making sure her daughter does.

But even her daughter will need to know how to cultivate her own self-worth and not need it from someone else.

Just like her mother.

We go deep in coaching.

We find the root of what’s holding you back.

And we plant something new, by Allah’s will.

If this resonated and you want to experience this kind of transformative conversation for yourself-

Come as you are.

Experience a space for you to finally put the pieces together—and see yourself through the lens of truth.
