5/19/2026 Everything has a seasonBeing harsh with yourself is not the secret to success.
It doesn’t make you more productive. It doesn’t make you more disciplined. It usually just makes the journey feel heavier than it needs to. You are not supposed to do everything at once. Not every goal needs your attention in the same season. There are phases in life. Phases for building. Phases for learning. Phases for motherhood and being deeply present at home. Phases for healing. Phases for growing a business. Phases for rest. Phases for simplifying. Overwhelm comes from trying to force every phase to happen at the same time. So much suffering comes from our thoughts about ourselves. Thoughts like: “I should be doing more.” “I’m behind.” “I’m wasting time.” “Everyone else is ahead of me.” Those thoughts create pressure, guilt and paralysis. The work is learning to intentionally decide: What matters most in this phase of my life? And then allowing that answer to guide your decisions without constantly judging yourself. Ease is not laziness. Focus is not failure. Prioritizing one area does not mean you are neglecting your entire future. Sometimes wisdom looks like doing less, but doing it fully. Allah ﷻ created life in seasons. Not everything blooms at the same time. You are allowed to honor the season you are in instead of fighting it.
