3/13/2026 EmpathsBeing an empath is not a weakness. It’s information.
For a long time, many people learned that showing emotion is something to be embarrassed about. If you cried, you were too sensitive. If something hurt you, you were too emotional. So we started hiding it. Pushing it down. Pretending we were fine. Emotions are simply signals. They’re not problems to eliminate, they’re data about what’s happening in your mind. Your feelings come from your thoughts. Not the world. Which means emotion is not something to be ashamed of. It’s something to understand. As an empath, you might feel things deeply. You might notice shifts in energy. You might pick up on what others are experiencing. That makes you someone who can have deeper connections with others. That’s not something to hide. It’s something to learn how to navigate. When you understand your thoughts and your emotions, you stop being controlled by them and you start using them as guidance. Even in our faith, emotion isn’t something we’re told to suppress. The Prophet ﷺ experienced grief, compassion, mercy, and tenderness. Feeling deeply is part of being human. The goal isn’t to become someone who feels nothing. The goal is to become someone who understands what they feel. And when you do that, the shame disappears. If this resonates with you, I’d love to support you. I offer free consultation calls where we can talk about what’s going on in your inner world and how coaching can help you navigate it with clarity and strength.
