12/11/2025 Don't let your present rob your futureDon’t let your present rob your future.
One of the wildest things about the brain is this: The second you identify what you actually want out of life it immediately starts negotiating with you. “We don’t have time for this.” “I’m too tired.” “Maybe later, when life calms down.” But even when the brain does this, you still want those results. You don’t stop desiring them just because your present feels heavy. You just stop believing you’re capable of achieving them. And the more time passes, the easier it becomes for your brain to point at the clock and say: “See? Now it’s too late.”⌛️ But it’s not time robbing you. It’s the belief that you can’t do anything about it right now. And that’s the mindset that’s stealing your future. A few months or a year of intentionally building something can alter the entire trajectory of your life. And that kind of change is always worth it. When I transitioned from law into coaching, it wasn’t overnight. I had two kids, a home, and legal work to get done. But I didn’t let my brain tell me I didn’t have time. I simply decreased one stack and increased another. Less legal work. More coaching. Step by step. Month by month. It was a mental load for a short time. But once I got to the other side, I realized it was so much easier than my brain told me it would be. And because I didn’t pressure myself to make it work overnight, my practice got to grow from ease, not panic. If you want 2026 to look different you have to stop letting your present talk you out of building your future. I’m offering free consultations in December to help you get clarity on what you actually want and what’s standing between you and the life you’re dreaming about. My coaching container starts in January — and it’s designed to help you use your present intentionally to build the future you want to live in, with tools that honor Islam, mindset, emotion and taking action.
