10/14/2025 Do you actually trust yourself?Do you actually trust yourself?
When you meet someone new, you naturally ask yourself: 👉🏽 Do I like them? 👉🏽 Can I trust them? It’s such a normal part of building relationships. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself-- Do I trust me? At first, it might seem like an easy “of course I do.” But if you look closer… do you really? Do you keep your word to yourself? If you say you’ll go for that walk, wake up early, start the project, or follow your dream—do you actually follow through? Do you trust yourself to make an investment—whether in your education, business, or growth—and truly make it worthwhile? Or do you find yourself hesitating, second-guessing, or not showing up fully when you do? The root of every form of investing in yourself—your time, effort, or money—is self-trust. When you trust yourself, you don’t overthink opportunities. You know that no matter what, you’ll show up. You’ll do your best. You’ll figure it out. But when you don’t, you hesitate, flake, or let fear make decisions for you. In Islam, amana (trustworthiness) is a deeply valued trait-- and it begins with the trust between you and Allah, and between you and yourself. Allah (SWT) says: “Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due…” (Surah An-Nisa 4:58) That includes the trust you owe yourself—to honor your word, your time and your potential. If you’ve been feeling that gap between who you want to be and what you’re actually doing- that gap is often self-trust. And the good news? It’s something you can rebuild. ✨ I help Muslim women reconnect with that trust—so they can follow through, invest in themselves with confidence, and create the life they’re meant for. If this speaks to you, let’s rebuild that trust within yourself, one step at a time.
