2/16/2026 Be the Ninja of Your MindBe the ninja of your mind 🥷🧠
Not getting swayed left and right by what people say. Not spiraling every time someone approves, disapproves, praises, ignores, or misunderstands you. That’s emotional mastery. Here’s how we know people don’t “make” us feel anything: You can love someone deeply and no matter how much you love them, you cannot make them love you back. And someone can love you, show up for you, do everything “right” and you still may not feel love for them. So what does that tell us? Feelings don’t come from other people. They come from our thoughts about other people. No one can hijack your emotions without your permission, your thoughts are always the cause. Emotional power comes from taking responsibility for your internal world instead of outsourcing it. Jihad al-nafs is the struggle with the self. The daily, quiet, courageous work of: • noticing your thoughts • regulating your emotions • choosing restraint over reaction • responding instead of reacting • acting from values, not impulses This is one of the most important struggles because an unmanaged mind: – damages relationships – doesn’t allow you to meet your potential – creates unnecessary suffering – keeps you stuck in emotional cycles And a disciplined mind gives you dignity, clarity, and inner strength. Being the ninja of your mind doesn’t mean you don’t feel. It means your feelings don’t run you. If you’re ready to stop being emotionally pulled by people, situations, and old patterns and start leading yourself with intention and faith this is the transformation we create in coaching.
