6/30/2026 Are you going backwards?Have you ever noticed that sometimes you’re not just standing still you’re actually pedaling backwards?
You say you want to increase your income, grow your business, or create a bigger impact. But then you spend your time doing things you’ve already mastered. Taking another beginner course. Reading another book on something you already know. Perfecting a skill you’ve long outgrown. It feels productive, but it’s often a way your brain keeps you safe. Growth requires stepping into the room where you’re the beginner again, not because you lack knowledge, but because you’re reaching for a new level. Every bigger goal or income level requires a new version of you. The strategies that got you here won’t get you there. If you keep solving yesterday’s problems, you’ll keep creating yesterday’s results. If your brain keeps convincing you to stay where you feel competent, you’ll avoid the very work that creates your next breakthrough. Competence is comfortable. Growth is not. We’re encouraged to strive for excellence (ihsan) and to trust Allah while taking courageous action. Tawakkul isn’t waiting until you feel ready, it’s moving forward while relying on Allah, even when the next step stretches you. So ask yourself: Where are you investing your time in things you’ve already outgrown? And what challenge are you avoiding because it requires becoming someone new? If you’re ready to stop pedaling backwards and start creating results that match the life you say you want, I’d love to help. Email [email protected] to book your free consultation call.
