2/3/2025 Are you carrying invisible wounds? Most of us are. These wounds aren’t just from the big moments in life but often from the small, subtle experiences that quietly shape how we see ourselves and what we believe we’re capable of.
It might be the rejection you faced when you tried something new. Or the words of someone who doubted your potential that you still replay in your mind. These wounds don’t stay in the past; they travel with us. We build our decisions, relationships, and dreams around avoiding the pain of those moments. Islam teaches us about the importance of healing and seeking peace within ourselves. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “There is a piece of flesh in the body, and if it becomes good (reformed), the whole body becomes good; but if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted, and that is the heart.” Taking care of your heart includes healing those wounds—replacing false stories with truth, doubt with trust, and fear with reliance on Allah. And here’s the beauty: Allah is Al-Jabbar, the One who mends what is broken. But part of that healing requires us to be willing to look inward, process what’s hurting us, and rewrite the narrative we’ve built around our lives. This is exactly the work I do with my coaching clients. I help Muslim women identify those hidden wounds and the beliefs holding them back, so they can show up in life and fulfill their potential confidently. If you’re tired of carrying the weight of old wounds and ready to rewrite your story Email me for a free consultation to explore if coaching is right for you.
