4/23/2025 All or nothingYour brain 🧠 will try to sell you the lie of either/or.
You can either be a present mom or build a business. You can either write that book 📕 in one go or not at all. You can either stay in your stable job or launch that app idea 💡 It convinces you that the only way to do something big… is to blow up your life and disappear for 30 days, 3 months, or a year 🗓️ So you end up doing nothing. Because real life doesn’t have room for extremes like that. At least not consistently. So the dream stays shelved. But here’s what I’ve learned: It’s not the all or nothing approach that builds something meaningful. It’s something always. One page 📃 a day. One hour ⏳a week. One small risk taken while holding on to your responsibilities. For me, I run my business outside of my kids’ hours. When they’re at school or asleep 😴 If a networking event comes up during their weekend swim 🏊🏼class? I don’t go — because my priority right now is being with them. But if something’s happening during school hours or a time my husband can be with them — I pick up and go. And I don’t feel guilty either way. I have a decision-making system that aligns with my values — so no resentment, no regret. “Your time is your life, and your life is your capital: by it you make your trade, and by it you will reach the eternal bounties in the proximity of Allah.” — Imam al-Ghazali You don’t need to disappear to make your dream 💭 real. You just need to decide — and start where you are, with what you have. If your brain is stuck in “I have to choose one or the other”… Let’s get on a consult. You don’t need to blow up your life to change it.
